Village of Hope

Mike and Jeanette Propp are the founders of Village of Hope. When they first went to the country, their goal was to start a Bible college in central Philippines.

After leaving California, they soon realized this goal, but they also saw an additional need in the region. Many children, as young as three, were in need of rescue from desperate, abusive situations and the Propps knew they needed to act. God’s Kids began supporting this effort and we’ve helped Mike and Jeanette build 4 homes that house 40 children in Bohol, Philippines. Each of the four homes has a set of house parents and can accommodate 10-12 kids.

There are plans to plans to build an additional two homes on the property allowing a total of 60 kids to be cared for at the Village of Hope.
