In Thailand, we focus on supporting hilltribe children along the Thai-Burma border.
Most of the 25+ children under our care are of the Karen ethnic group, though there are also some Mon, Burmese, and Thai. Most of the children that we support have been directly affected by civil war between the Burma military and ethnic militias. God’s Kids orphanage is in the village of Huaymalai located in Central Thailand, in a province west of Bangkok famous for its scenic mountains.
The Huaymalai children’s home is run by a Karen husband and wife named Nandoe and Pawlulu, respectively. Moved by their faith in Christ, Nandoe and Pawlulu are heavily involved with helping refugees along the borderline.
