 When
Easter rolls around, I often think about the ugly parts of my life -
the parts that make me cringe when I look back at them. I think of the times that I made mistakes that hurt my
relationship with God or with the people that are closest to me.
Easter draws me to those reflections because this is the time that we
celebrate what Jesus did for us 2,000 years ago. He stood in the path
of our punishment, took it all on Himself, and gave us eternal grace
for the ugly parts of our life.
How do we show appreciation to God for the grace that He's given us
through the death of His Son? It's impossible to fully appreciate His
gift to us. But we have to do the best we can. One of the ways that we're called
to give thanks is to be the light of compassion in the lives of
suffering people.

The Bathroom Projects are Underway in Liberia
John
Kpewoan, our National Director in Liberia has identified several
orphanages that will receive God's Kids funds to build a new bathroom
for the health and safety of their children. Hundreds of orphans
will benefit from the new facilities.
Many
of the orphanages in Liberia do not have adequate bathrooms for
children. God's Kids has made the construction of new, clean, and safe
bathrooms for the children a priority.
We would like to thank the hundreds of donors who have stepped up to get involved with this project.
