Dear %salu%,

Last week, an excited little boy ran up to me; he grabbed my hand, and told me that I had given him his first bed to sleep in. When a crowd of other kids gathered around me, I pictured each of them sleeping in a new bed with a mattress, and I thought about all of the people in the U.S. and Canada who have contacted God's Kids to join our mission, and touch the lives of these orphans. It was an incredible moment. 

I just returned from Liberia and I'm very excited about all of the things that we are doing in West Africa. I was able to see many of the orphanages in our network, visit the five farms that we've planted, and spend time holding and loving kids. I wish I had time to tell you about all of the good things that I saw. Let me just tell you that together, with God's blessing, we are truly making a difference in that country and in the lives of children. Thank you for being part of this incredible ministry.

God's Kids is Expanding in Mexico

We've purchased the land to build a fourth feeding center in Mazatlan, Mexico.  Carlos, the feeding center director, and his family have been working with God's Kids for a number of years to feed close to 200 kids every day before and after school. Carlos and his staff share the gospel, teach bible studies, and feed hungry children every day. Their ministry is so effective that God's Kids is helping them expand to reach more children by building another feeding center. Now that the land is purchased, we can't wait to start building!

The Farms in Liberia Look Great!

The five farms that Jackson, our Liberian Agriculture Director, is managing are performing even better than we had hoped! One farm alone produced enough vegetables to not only feed all of the children in the orphanage, but also produced a surplus that sold in the market for a profit! With the profits from our agricultural strategies so far, we've been able to build a bathroom, lay the foundation for the construction of a school classroom, and feed hundreds of orphans! God has truly blessed our agriculture projects.
