I have just returned from a 10-day trip to Asia. I am so proud of our people and what God is doing through them!

In the Philippines, the Village of Hope is coming along nicely. This village will provide shelter for kids who come from the streets of Cebu and Manila. This complex will contain 20 buildings and house approximately 200 children. The picture shows the work being completed on one of the homes. How great it will be for these children to have a safe place to sleep and nutritious food to eat, without having to steal or beg.

I also visited our new orphan dormitory at the Ban Don Yang refugee camp in Thailand. While it was disturbing to see the effects landmines have had on some of the children, it was great to see how God’s Kids is making a difference in those children’s lives.
