Chuck was born and raised on a farm in the Midwest. According to his wife, Barb, "Chuck loves all things agriculture." But more importantly, Chuck loves serving God by loving children.
Chuck and God's Kids President, Ridge Burns have been friends for more than a decade. On his first God's Kids trip to Africa, Ridge witnessed the suffering of orphans in Liberia due to malnutrition and lack of food and contacted Chuck for advice. After attempting to help Ridge understand some basic agricultural concepts, Chuck volunteered to come to Liberia to see the problem for himself. "He fell in love with Liberia and what God's Kids was doing there immediately," says Barb. Chuck quickly became the International Director of Agriculture for God's Kids and has put several successful agricultural strategies in motion to feed children nutritious food and provide the orphanages some revenue to provide care for their kids.
Chuck owns and operates a dairy farm in Mesa, Arizona. He and his wife have four children - one adopted - and 12 grandchildren.
