| Dion began his working life in 1980 at CWCI, a supplier to the commercial heating, ventilation & air conditioning industry (HVAC). After holding positions in the warehouse, estimating, and sales, he decided to build his own business in the industry. He started MSI HVAC in 1986, operating out of a garage in Brea, California, with two employees. Today, MSI is recognized as the 38th largest HVAC wholesaler in the United States by the Supply House Times , with over 500 employees and six locations in three states.
MSI has a strong history of supporting various charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. After visiting a number of orphanages that he'd personally supported for years, Dion discovered that many of them lacked accountability and efficiency; and the children were suffering the consequences. He founded God's Kids in 2002 in response to the needs of orphans worldwide. Dion's vision was to create an organization that would provide accountability to orphanages for the care they gave the children and assure donors that their support was used for the purposes they intended. Through Dion's efforts, God's Kids is now supporting 22 orphanages in 6 different countries. |
