GTSSS was founded in 1994 by Dr. M. Jacob Bishop. During a visit to a tribal colony in India, Jacob met 3 orphaned children under 7 years old without clothes, begging, and sleeping under trees. They clung to Jacob’s feet, but he had nothing to give them. He took them into his arms and hugged them with tears streaming down his face. The children touched him and he took them home.
From this small beginning more than ten years ago, God has blessed Jacob and his ministry. Today, GTSSS is home to more than 340 orphaned children.
God's Kids is helping to ensure that these children are loved, protected, educated, and taught the gospel. Through our supporters, the children of GTSSS are growing in the Lord and will be the next generation to take the Gospel to the people of India.
