God's Kids was blessed to have the opportunity to fund the construction of this home for orphans. It was built in 2004 and officially opened its doors to orphaned children in July of that year.
Forgotten Children - Savar is one of two orphanages built by God's Kids in Bangladesh. Both F.C. - Savar and F.C. Dinajpur were the vision of, and are operated by Peter Halder and his wife Nancy. The Halders have dedicated much of their lives to loving and caring for the hurting children of Bangladesh in the name of Jesus.
F.C. - Savar began with just five children. Today, 30 kids live and worship as a family here with six adult staff. In addition to regular schooling from a dedicated teacher, the children work with part-time tutors and specialty teachers in music, art, and dance. Like students in the United States, these children take field trips to parks and the zoo as part of their curriculum.
God has truly blessed this home, the staff, and the orphans in Forgotten Children - Savar.
